Megan is so cute she was walking from preschool going to our car and she said, "Mom, I know what I want to be." I said, "What do you want to be?" She said she wanted to be just like me a teacher when she grows up. My heart melted because of the way she said it. Then suddenly she said, "I've changed my mind. I am going to be a cowgirl."
What? I thought where does she get such ideas. Oh yes, I have her read a lot. So I said, "Fantastic, you should become whatever you would like to be when you grow up." Then the practical five year old voice comes out and she said, "I need to practice riding horses soon if I am going to be a cow girl." I told her she was right and maybe if we ever see some horses she could practice : )
I was thinking to myself, since I see a ton of cars in this parking lot she has a better chance of learning to drive first before she learns to ride a horse.
