It dawned on me today that I have not taken pictures for almost 3 months. I started taking some this spring break. I feel like if I take the pictures then I have to do something with them. If I don't take them then I don't have to wory about them. Should I develop them, scrapbook them, post them, burn them to a CD, back them up all the time to a portable drive, or stop taking them : )
Perhaps less is more when it comes to photos. Now that I am doing some of my family history some people have only 5 to 10 photo's of there lives. It is a perfect amount to pass down to the next generation. What will my kids give their kids, hundreds of photo's of there lives? How will they even look at them? What if we did that for the next four generations? Then there would be thousands of photo's to save, backup and pass down. Hmmmmm . . . perhaps I should delete them now . . . Just kidding : )

I've thought the same thing: we only need a few really nice photos every year. So I don't take all that many either. Except when we go camping or on vacation. Then I seem to take a bunch! But really, I agree that our grandchildren and next generations aren't going to care much about the 1000s of pictures we take!
